STAR Learning Walk Training
Through workshops and classroom observations, administrators and teacher leaders will reflect on their own practices and learn how to model Powerful Teaching and Learning. The STAR Learning Walks ensure administrators and teacher leaders know how to support Powerful Teaching and Learning at the school level.
It is an efficient and cost effective way to ensure administrators know how to support Powerful Teaching and Learning. The Academy consists of four full day trainings. Each day of the academy consists of a half-day workshop session in the morning and a half-day field experience in the afternoon. The focus of the Academy is on understanding the roles of the administrator related to developing Powerful Teaching and Learning at the school-level. Administrators will conduct STAR Learning Walks for Personal Reflection. The purpose of the Leadership Academy is to develop Administrators (central office and building) as leaders of Powerful Teaching and Learning.
